Heart 2 Heart

When it comes to decorating for Valentine's Day, I really don't have to do much. As I was looking around my house, most of the hearts I have around the house are here almost 365 days of the year -  and the photos below are just half of my very unplanned and rather serendipitous collection of hearts.  I have various stone and glass hearts around the house, from the bedside table to the fireplace mantle. The top red is glass, the white is selenate quartz, the pink is rose quartz, and the brown is petrified wood.  Candleholders, soap dishes, and fabric hearts made of old antique quilts. A copper mold hung on a kitchen cupboard, and I didn't even bother bringing out the collection of heart-shaped cookie cutters.  There's still another box full of heart-shaped jewelry that's not in this photo.
